Lehi - Yitzhak Shamir born Yitzhak Yezernitsky, October 22, 1915 – June 30, 2012 was an Israeli politician and the seventh prime minister of Israel, serving two terms (1983–1984, 1986–1992). Before the establishment of the State of Israel, Shamir was a leader of the Zionist militant group Lehi, also known as the Stern Gang. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yitzhak_Shamir

Irgun-Etzel - Menachem Begin (Hebrew: מְנַחֵם בֵּגִין ; [16 August 1913 – 9 March 1992) was an Israeli politician, founder of Likud and the sixth Prime Minister of Israel. Menachem Begin was a Commander in the Irgun-Etzel

Palmach - Yitzhak Rabin Hebrew: יִצְחָק רַבִּין, March 1922 – 4 November 1995 was an Israeli politician, statesman and general. He was the fifth Prime Minister of Israel, serving two terms in office, 1974–1977, and from 1992 until his assassination in 1995. Yitzhak Rabin was a Commander in the Palmach.

08 April 2022 at 18:28. The late grandfather of my son, Daniel, was a member of the Palmach-one of the Jewish militant resistance groups, like many others from his generation that were members of one of the four Jewish military resistance groups - Haganah, Palmach, Lehi, and Etzel, as the late Israeli PM Yitzhak Shamir that was a member of Lehi, and was considered as a terrorist by the British Empire during his activity in Lehi against the British army that was occupied Palestine as a colony. The four Jewish militant resistance groups were considered terrorist organizations due to their nature militant activity against the British army, yet Lehi and Etzel were considered more militant compared to Haganah and Palmach, such as Lehi that was responsible for the assassination of Lord Moyne (the British Minister of State for the Middle East), while Etzel (Irgun) was responsible for the bombing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, still, the four Jewish military resistance groups - Haganah, Palmach, Lehi, and Etzel - play important role in ending the British occupation in Palestine and for the creation of Israel as an independent country. This kind of resistance occurred in many British colonies worldwide, so all the British colonies with significant populations became independent countries. If we look today at the remaining colonies worldwide, then only very small population territories are still colonies because if you have a territory with less than 100K, then you have the advantage to run it under a big country, rather than as a tiny country. Besides, if you have a tiny population, you lack the resources to create significant resistance to fight for an independent country, which is not the case if you have a population of millions of people.

What Israel could learn from its history regarding the occupation of Palestine?

What we could learn from dozens of countries that fight to become independent countries - Is it possible to hold a big population under occupation without suffering from military resistance activity?

Freedom is one of the most important elements for any nation and for any person as the Jews celebrate every year in the Passover to mark the Jewish freedom from King Pharaoh in Egypt. Happy Passover and Freedom Holiday, Israel.
