In my latest analysis USA Coalition versus Russia-China Coalition from my Monitoring Risks by Dr. Ziva Rozen-Bakher, I spoke about a ‘Merger of Allies’ between Russia and China (see below the relevant part). The announcement from today about restoring diplomatic relations between Iran and Maldives, as well as between Iran and Saudi Arabia are good examples of the implementation of this merger. My speculation is that also related to the expansion of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) with new members (see below information on SCO).
