01 February 2024 at 12:05. I was still beautiful and young (28 years old) when Iraq under Saddam Hussein attacked Israel, bombards that mainly included the Tel-Aviv area and Haifa area. At that time, I worked and lived in Petah Tikva near Tel-Aviv, still, my parents live in the Haifa area, so I was witness to the bombarding in both regions, Tel-Aviv and Haifa. In Petah Tikva, I lived alone in a new apartment on the 7th floor, the last floor, yet without a ‘Safe Room’ at that time, so unfortunately, I saw in my eyes through the big windows in the living room how the missiles passed before they landed at the ground in loud voices. Thereby, no one should underestimate the threat from Iraq despite that Iraq has no border with Israel, because if we look closely at the map, then East Iraq which has borders with Syria and Jordan, has only 360 km distance from Haifa and less than 400 km from Tel-Aviv, a distance that has no problem to reach via ‘regular’ missiles. Apparently, the current bombarding against Israel and USA bases in the region comes from Islamic Resistance in Iraq (IRI), but according to my analysis, the Iraqi government closed its eyes to the activity of IRI against Israel and USA bases in its territory, because Iraq like Iran never recognised Israel as a legitimate state, so Iraq and Iran are two Shiite Islam Allies that have the same view against Israel. Paradoxically, the USA put a lot of effort into helping Iraq to get rid of the Islamic State, but this assistance is not helping to prevent the joining of Iraq into the Military Campaign against Israel and the USA Bases in the region, because of the Israeli harsh bombardment of Gaza that includes many Palestinian casualties. Hence, based on analysis, USA wrongly thinks that Iran is responsible for the IRI military activity, because my speculation is that Iraq is allowing it amid what Israel has done in Gaza since the start of the Hamas-Israel War, still, clearly, Iran, Syria, Iraq via IRI, Lebanon via Hezbollah, Yemen via Hotties, and even Jordan via Palestinian Refugees that live in Jordan, all of them together, are acting against Israel and USA bases in the region due to the Hamas-Israel war. Under this situation, we have a limited all-out War in the region, yet my prediction is that the Risk for a 'real' all-out war in the region increases significantly, because of the contradictory objectives among the rivals namely, Palestine would like to end the Israeli occupation and become an independent country, while Israel would like to eliminate the Hamas, and the USA would like to demilitarize Palestine, opposite objectives that will eventually lead to a 'real' all-out war in the region.
