06 February 2024 at 06:34. Starvation as a War-Weapon is not a new war method. The Holodomor was a man-made famine in Soviet Ukraine from 1932 to 1933 that killed millions of Ukrainians due to intentional Starvation by the Soviet government led by Stalin. The Holodomor has been recognized by 34 UN member states, the European Parliament and 35 of the 50 states of the United States as a genocide against the Ukrainian people carried out by the Soviet government. Unfortunately, Starvation as a War-Weapon is also implemented in Gaza by the State of Israel against the Palestinians. When we use extreme tools in wars like Starvation, we take a big risk for an extreme escalation in the war, and worse, for revenge that the question is not if it will come but when it will come. When I saw what the State of Israel had done in Jenin, then it was clear to me that revenge will come from the Palestinian side, and indeed it happened via the surprise attack against Israel on 07 October 2023, while now, again, I have no doubt that harsh revenge will come from the Palestinian side against Israel because of what Israel is done now in Gaza that includes Non-Humanitarian Acts, such as Starvation, bombarding hospitals, and preventing entry of food and medicines. When someone attacks you, then you have the right to do a counter-attack, still, the counter-attack should be proportional, which is not the case in the current Hamas-Israel war which currently resulted in the death of 12,000 Palestinian children, regardless of the estimated of 13,000 orphans Palestinian children. Importantly, we should keep in mind that there is legitimacy for military resistance under occupation if the occupation violates the International Law in a way that the occupier invades a territory or even annexes a territory that belongs to the conquered nation according to International Law, such as in the cases of Ukraine and Palestine. Therefore, eventually, in the Good Scenario, the international community will force Israel to end the occupation in Palestine and to accept the Two-State Solution, while in the Bad Scenario, the ending of the occupation will happen due to a harsh revenge act against Israel. Therefore, every person who dies on both sides occurs for nothing, because eventually, Israel will be forced to accept the creation of the State of Palestine as an Independent country. NO MORE!
