25 May 2022 at 05:58. Again and again, mass shootings in schools in the USA take the lives of children. Without gun control, the USA is like a 'War-Zone' that is controlled by aggressive culture via its victims who have free access to guns. The USA should lower the risk of 'War-Zone' by absolute gun control along with lowering the aggressive culture (e.g. violent movies). Even John Stuart Mill argued in his mass 'On Liberty' that individuals should be free to do whatever they like unless they make real physical damage to other individuals in society, either property damage or body damage. Thus, Freedom is not giving free access to guns that could lead to mass shootings, but Freedom should be focused on protecting the right to live whatever you like without the fear of property damage or body damage. Given that, gun control should be based on the principle that ONLY individuals who MUST have guns could hold them. Otherwise, no one should be allowed to hold guns. The USA will survive economically without the 'gun consumption', while the negative implications of continuing with the 'War-Zone' will downrate the global position of the USA. Nevertheless, if American 'big children' like to play with guns, then the USA should form a 'fabricated gun industry' that makes toy guns for 'big children'. It will be still an aggressive culture but at least no one will be killed by it.
