Justice is not supposed to be a political issue, but if we compare the global reaction regarding Ukraine versus Palestine, then clearly, justice has become a geopolitical tool. More specifically, we can see clearly that the countries that joined the sanctions against Russia due to the Ukraine War are the Countries that did not back South Africa’s Case in ICJ against Israel, while the countries that did not join the sanctions against Russia, backed South Africa’s Case in ICJ about that Israel Committing Genocide in Gaza. However, among the countries that backed South Africa’s Case, we see not only Muslim countries but also Christian countries including South Africa that led the case in ICJ. Perhaps, we should not be surprised, because the OIC - Organisation of Islamic Cooperation that backed South Africa’s case in ICJ, has not only Muslim member countries but also Christian member countries. Even the Arab League has fans from non-Arab Christian countries as Observer States, such as Brazil, India and Venezuela. Therefore, joining the ‘Arab-Muslim Family’ has become a hot political trend. Importantly, looking in-depth at which countries backed South Africa’s Case in ICJ, gives a clear Indication for the Change in the Global Order, because countries that for long were considered part of the ‘West Family’ led by the USA, moved to the other side, namely to the ‘East Family’ led by Russia and China, still, Russia and China, cleverly stay out of the ICJ hot topic, but their Loyal allies from BRICS - South Africa and Brazil - have led and backed with OIC the Case in ICJ against Israel-the loyal ally of USA.

In light of the change in the global order, Israel should take seriously the Genocide case against her in IJC because of the following reasons:

  • The Extended ‘Arab-Muslim Family’ that includes significant Christian countries has the power to fight against Israel, Legally, politically and economically, by boycotting Israel including trying to bring to justice the Israeli Military Elite and the Israeli government.

  • The EU leaders are usually soft towards Israel, but not the ‘EU Street’ that opposes the Israeli occupation of Palestine, which may impact Israel at the economic level.

  • Russia and China clearly favour Palestine over Israel because most of the members of BRICS Plus and SCO are allies of Palestine. Besides, likely that Palestine will join BRICS following her application, which will make her de-facto as a country even under Israeli occupation.

  • The USA is in a difficult position to protect Israel regarding the Genocide case because of Ukraine (see International Criminal Court (ICC)=Biden Court).

  • The Genocide case against Israel can lead to a cycle of revenge that has already started, so any further revenge act by Palestine against Israel may become 'legitimate' amid the Genocide case.

Considering the above, my prediction is that the Genocide case against Israel will isolate Israel, politically and economically, regardless of the legal implications. Besides, very likely, that the ongoing cycle of revenge between Israel and Palestine will escalate due to the Genocide case. Importantly, my prediction is that the Genocide case will lead eventually to the establishment of the State of Palestine in the style of what happened with Israel in 1947, so I will not be surprised if the International Community will eventually force Israel to accept the establishment of the State of Palestine as an Independent country.
