Blog on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and International Trade by Dr. Ziva Rozen-Bakher to Identify Risks versus Opportunities at the Country Level
Blog on FDI and International Trade by Alphabetical Order https://www.rozen-bakher.com/search-blog-1
This blog focuses on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and International Trade in a certain country or territory in terms of how the Location Factors (Political, Economic, Technological, Ecological, Legal and Cultural) and Entry Modes (e.g. M&As, Export and Greenfield) impact the attractiveness - or vice versa - the risks of FDI and International Trade in the certain country or territory, still, keep in mind that each risk may lead to an opportunity for resolving problems via suitable FDI and International Trade, while each opportunity for FDI and International Trade may involve risks.

Distance from Niue to New Zealand: 2,867 Km (Straight line distance Capital-to-Capital in Km, Map Developers)
Niue was a British colony since the 19th century, but in the start of the 20th century, the British handover it to New Zealand when New Zealand was still a British colony, still, the sovereignty status of Niue was evolved over the years namely, from dependent colony to self-governing status and to the current formal status of Free-Association with New Zealand. Although, Niue does not make yet a self-declaration of an independent country, still, Niue acts as an informal independent country, especially after USA recognized Niue as an independent country in 2023, while Niue has already diplomatic relations with more than 20 countries. However, Niue does not apply yet for UN membership (Independent Country), because one of the main obstacles is the demand of New Zealand that Niue will change its constitution regarding Niue’s right to New Zealand citizenship, an obstacle that does not resolve yet between Niue and New Zealand.
